Arnold P. Lieberman passed away on August 8th at Salt Lake Regional Hospital. He was born in Minneapolis Minnesota on October 28, 1926 to Ruth Leona Klein and Ray Solomon Lieberman.
He proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne division. He received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
For 80 years he loved chess and enjoyed playing the game. He also loved ballroom dancing and Tai Chi. He had an infectious wit.

He enjoyed spending time with his beloved fiancé, and love of his life, Helen Barr.
He is survived by his two sons Jon and Rob, his beloved sister Jodi, his brothers Howard and Harold, his grandchildren Bobby, William, Chelsea, Quinn, & Preston, his three great grandchildren Alexis, Joey, & David. He was proceeded in death by his wife Hazel (Payne), his son Stuart, and his granddaughters Cassandra & Danielle.
His children said he impressed upon them to always be honest and to "Do it right the first time."
Graveside service will be held Friday, August 11th at 9:45 a.m. at Montefiore Cemetery 1081 4th Ave.
